Bio:

Yoswadi Krutklom was born in Thailand and began drawing at an early age, a result of her interest in art and an active imagination. She graduated from Silipakorn University with a bachelor’s degree in visual communication design. In 2007, she continued her art education at Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia. She is currently an illustrator based in New York City.

Artist Statement:

“Hello Grandma, Hello Grandpa” represents my grandmother and grandfather who have passed away. It recalls my childhood memories from 20 years ago when I lived with them. I rediscovered my memories and stories of my deceased grandparents that I tend to forget since I have grown up. I interpret these moments through vibrant colors with slightly quirky characters from a young child’s perspective that is fun and harmless.
