Bio:

After his education at Silpakorn University in Bangkok, Pairoj came to New York to enroll in the Hunter College MFA program. He has received numerous awards at art competitions and has had work featured at galleries and exhibitions throughout Thailand. His first solo show “Mind & Culture” was exhibited in 2008 at ArtGorillas ArtGallery in Bangkok.

Artist Statement:

Reminiscing about the past is something that can be considered outdated, but we often forget that thousands of large structures all began with a single stone. Coming from Asia, consideration for my ancestors and always remembering my roots is something that has been deeply ingrained in me. Though my work looks contemporary, its subject matter is wholly concerned with the past and our forefathers.
