Bio:

Niramon has been working as a director of photography for 17 years. Her work includes TV commercials, music videos, short and feature films and has worked in the U.S., Mexico, Europe, Africa, and New Zealand. She was the director of photography for the 2004 Thai horror film, “Shutter” which has been screened at numerous film festivals including New York’s Tribeca Film Festival and Montreal’s Fantasia Film Festival, where it won the Best Asian Film Award.

Artist Statement:

I used Siras’s dancing and choreography to tell a story based on her life in New York. Her character dances in the real settings of busy streets and wishes that someone would notice her through her dance. Can she be heard in this big city?
