Bio:

Ruchupa, or Korbua, earned her bachelor of fine and applied arts from the Department of Thai Dance (classical) from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. She holds advanced certification from the Royal Academy of Dance in London. She was selected as a principal dancer for the opening ceremony of the Doha Asian Games 2006 in Qatar and has appeared in performances and on television in Thailand.

Artist Statement:

This is a collaboration between film and contemporary dance. We would like to portray the feelings of Thais who come and live in New York City.
