Bio:

Rossukhon Songkhum, or “Boom”, is from Chiang Mai, Thailand. Her work earned second place in the Moore in America contest held by the New York Botanical Garden in 2008. She has shown her work with Williamsburg Art and Historical Center (WAH) at Amarin Café in Brooklyn 2009. Her second solo show will be held there this summer. Artist Statement:

NYC Little Boxes by Rossukhon Songkhum (inspired by the song by Malvina Reynolds "Little Boxes") Living in a box, every day I go out to work in the morning and come back to the same box in the evening. Then, I go out to work the next morning, but it seems like I will never escape from it. Although may not be much adventure, life is still fun and colorful.
